Inspired by Family

In Latino culture, family is the most important life quality one has.

In fact, It is not unheard of latino children sticking with their elders until an older age - not only because there is a want to aid parents as they get older but because our parents always want to be there for their children every step of the way. And when hardships come about, there is nothing a close-knit family can not do together - Because where ever there is a will, there is truly a way to get things done.

That is why when my mother fell ill in 2016, our family stopped at nothing to get her, and us, back to the level of comfort we were at. My father would work long over nights and I, at 14 years old, got my first job to help my family make ends meet.

After 6 long months in the hospital, our families battles did not stop there. Unfortunately my mother was unable to return back to work for the deficits she was left with after her stroke were too much. This meant that my family had to work harder than ever in a period of time that was very uncertain to us.

Fast forward 7 years later, my mother is still unable to work; however, she has made a semi-full recovery which allows her to spend all of her free time at home helping where she can. This abundance of time reminds my mother everyday of the overwhelmingly large reality of never being able to work again, however, it has allowed my mother to rediscover old hobbies that, as a young adult, would fascinate her world.

That is where this website comes about! My mother, who has always been fond of jewelry, decided it would be possible to open up an online store to help with money. Except, she could not do it alone, so what seemed like months of planning, building a website, gathering the best quality jewelry, and doing all the photography, I jumpstarted this business to make my mom's dream come true.
